I haven't received any pm from you Skid.

these are not my parts although I'm advertising it all. most of them are from friends or family that upgraded their computers and these are the left over old parts. as far as the accuracy of the information they tell me is totally up to them. I'm not responsible for that. so if they tell me it's such and such and it turns out to be something else, really that's too bad.

I take their word for it but I'll double check everything else I have right now.

as far as what you should and should not get, you get them as they are. there's not much I can do. I dont pocket the money you give me when you purchase these things.

If you advertise it, you should really take responsibility, or at least make an effort to fix the problem. Don't just say it's someone else's problem.

"As Is" doesn't mean, "sold as whatever I happen to think it is," it means "Sold as described, with no warranty expressed or implied."

Selling an 1800 with DDR2700 as a 2800 with DDR3200 is a gross misrepresentation of the item.

I'd be kicking myself about the processor, considering the speed should have been written right on it, and if it wasn't that should have set off alarms as well. But definately boo to Stang for deflecting the blame.

ok there's just no way for me to give the money back for the simple fact that I don't have it. I can give you what I made on it back to you which is a measle $20, that my friend paid me for putting it up on beyond for him. you can give me a paypal account and I can transfer that to you that wouldn't be a problem.

Skid I'm very sure I asked you to check over things before you paid me but you just paid me and left... everyone should check for the merchandise you're making a purchase of no matter what. I don't think it would be hard to read the labels on them right?

Maybe he trusted you enough to take your word for it that it was what you said it was.

yeah...people don't really expect to be scammed on simple things like that by beyond members, guess its a heads up for everyone.

well i see i got your attention now ,, and yes, i thought and trusted you enough that you knew what you were selling. You been on the board since 2003 and have a good selling rating ,, and taking a heatsink off a processor in a car in a parking lot at night i don't think is a good idea and you told me it was a left over from your moms upgrade so i took it you knew what you where selling . I bought and sold alot of stuff off these boards and never had a problem with anyone or anything.

Well lets take this to pm's or if you have msn add me and see if we can fix this somehow. Leaning to my money back but we will see what we can do
