I bought an Acura typeR from USA to Canada - Can't get the recall clearance letter

Hello everyone,

I probably found the right forum to ask my question. People here look really knowledgeable.

I boughts a few months ago an Acura TypeR from USA. I bring it to Canada. (This is a salvage car). I repaired it then now I need the recall clearance letter. I called Acura USA but they don't want to send this to us. We are in serious trouble. We are stuck with this car for a couple of months now. I think that Acura USA will send this letter to US residents only.

Your help will be really appreciate.

Try to get the letter from a dealer?? on www.riv.ca it does say that the letter can come from the Manufacturer OR a dealer.
