Thinking about buying a 2002 Honda Civic SIR.
Im sure there are people here that own one. I would like to hear the pros and cons of them. Like insurance, gas, reliability, etc.
Any other opinions welcome.
Thanx

There's also a review by AsianCaucasian, but I couldn't find it and didn't feel like waiting for this slow ass 28.8K connection to load.

the first time i saw one i totally fell in love, i was gonna get an integra but i couldnt help it.. i had to get the civic.. the car has a little kick, good on gas, fun to drive, awesome handling and the dash mounted shifter is so much more comfortable,.. and dont forget the endless possibilities for mods!. hope that helps you decide.. (CMX67.. has a 2004 with 7000kms takeoverlease for 320/mon or something)..

Yeah im seriously contemplating buying one. It seriously is one of my favorite cars. I love the styling.
Stampede toyota has a 2002 SIR for just under 20k with 35k kms. Im tempted but at the same time need to think about going back to school and other major expenses. Man I hate priorites.
Edit
Whats "CMX67"?

the car feels decent, you get what you pay for, i think.
it definetely needs more power, and better traction and control, but that's nothing you couldn't change easily, especially when you're planning to modify your car anyway. it's a good platform to start on, they have some potential. spend your money wisely and you can turn it into a pretty refined little car.

Ya the price is pretty firm as I know I can get almost the same price with a trade-in on a new truck---and that is without all the goodies.
Selling because I need a bigger truck ---
Tooo bad I love the car and it is good on gas. I even love it more than the RSX I owned previously.
Let mw know if still interested..
Or can give me or my wife a call 667-0875
