If the dvd player has SVCD/VCD support you could just use nero I think, if not you'd have to encode it with something like nerovision or tmpgenc dvd author and burn with dvd shrink...at least thats the way I know how.

It's a lot easier and less painful to get a DVD player that can play files. Otherwise you'll have to encode to MPG2 720x480 24 or 30fps then get DVD software to make a basic menu, etc.

yeah, using something like proshow is probably the easiest way...just drag in and hit dvd disc :D

NeroVision does it easy as pie. It automatically calculates bitrate and whatnot for you and converts the files automatically.
