Well that car has been sitting for a little over 2 months now thanks to that damn brit. Insurance is winding down, i have already talked to an investigator and he seems pretty sure that I am in the right and we have a 3rd party adjuster going but that whole thing is another story.
While the car is sitting there are a few things i would like to do but am unsure of the out come or what else I could do. Please leave opinions comments or suggestions.
1) Re-wrap the ugly glove box and door inserts that are tweed with either a black or silver vinyl. I think black would be safe but silver would keep it dual color? Opinions? (this one i want to do for sure)
2) Finish my gauge pod and instal wiring. Leave the mecanical part of the oil pressure off until i get it back on the road again.
3) Paint/powder coat the valve cover
4) Find a silvia steering wheel and stock (240) indicator arms and replace my worn out ones thus moving the cruise control controls down into the bezel beside the hazards.
As you can see they are just minor things but give me something to do while the car sits. I am hoping this shit is over with soon so i can get it back on the road.
