getting rid of light rust..

hey guys.. my dad's van has some rust on it.. minor stuff though.. it hasnt eaten away at the metal or anything.. but so far, just looks like rust spots on top of the paint.

does anybody have any remedy suggestions? Such as putting some kind of rust remover solution over it, and then waxing/polishing the car to get it to go away? slapping a sticker over it doesnt work. :D i tried! hahaha

will waxing your car lots help prolong your car from getting rust?

If it is only rust around rock chips, a power polish with a cleaner will take care of it.
It is best if you can touch up the chips after you have cleaned the rust out.
Use a good wax/grease remover after you have polished the spots, then use a touch up stick.
Only then will a wax help.:thumbsup:
