This is a pretty sweet poster! If you can get it printed it comes out to somewhere around 30x40 inches.. I have the exact number somewhere. The poster has a side view of all F1 cars raced since 1950. It even has the F2001B in its September 11 livery, with no ads and just a black painted nose. You can also find the 6-wheeled Tyrells. I couldn't find the Brabham with the vacuum fan though:(

If you want you can print it out at a camera store (melinda has one I think) or any college with an architecture class...

BTW if it takes a while to load, that's because it's 19 megs. 9360x6620

It's going to get pretty darn expensive.

Anyhow, how big you print it out is dependent really on the output resolution required by the device doing the imaging. Obviously if you want a LightJet you'll need a little more resolution than a print made on an Inkjet.

46.81 W x 33.11 H at 200 ppi is the file size/resolution info.

You could print that extremely nicely on a wide format inkjet device (needs only 150 ppi for rasters) in a size of 62"W x 44"H it'd look fantastic!

Prints that size get costly. In addition, having a print that large (and having spent some bucks on it) means you're likely to want to protect it. Best way is to mount it (Foamcore, Gatorboard, Plaque, and then a UV laminate)

So, it'd be real expensive in a real hurry.

Fortunately, I happen to have a couple of wide format imaging devices sitting right here... :D

At least one F1 car is missing form the poster, the 2003 McLaren MP4-18.

Awesome find for sure.

I'm with everyone else, it would be great if we can get a group buy thing happening. I'm in Edmonton, but I am willing to pay for shipping in a poster tube.

1. No one here has a printer to print something that large,
2. I'm sure someone illegally scanned an original and hosted it. I'm just a little ticked off because as a part time photographer I'd be pissed to see my hard work being cheapened like that.

If I had thought this was an illegal reproduction I wouldn't have posted it... however there's no signs of copyright or any publishing information. I also don't think it could be scanned like that... I mean if you look at the text you can see it's digitally produced. If the guy who made this made it with an intent to sell, it wasn't a smart move of him to then post the full hi-res shot available for anyone else to print. The pic seems to have been produced for free distribution...
