Not bad! I wouldn't have thought RC cars would have the mass for drifting.

Edit: And they don't, unless you use patented no-grip ABS plastic tires.

how much are they?

Moonracer

80 bucks. They're not the same as the ones in the video. This one is alot cheaper but still good bang for the buck. Got it at toys R us, they are called "Drift Kings" one is a sylvia and the other is an rx-7.

i just got a s15 tyco one from toy's r us and it is fun but, I think you should save up some extra dollars and get the gas powered drift cars instead. The electric one's give you about 35min use time and need 4-5 hour charge time. The drift cars in the video are the gas powered type which can totally drift from one bend to the other no problem.

Moonracer

ya but they are also a lot more expensive. Besides I am just going to get another battery or two then I'm good for an hour of fun at a time.

Probably so. I got the S15 as well though, and took out the front driveshaft so it's strictly RWD :D For $80, not too bad at all.

Do the ones from ToysR Us really drift? or is it more of a "powerslide"? Can it make it through the whole turn like the runs in the vid? $80 seems a bit too much, but if I'm sure it can drift then why not :D

Oh ya they most certainly drift. It does take some practice and skill just like the real thing though. I'm getting better and better each time I run it. Today I had it drifting in one big circle steadily and in a straight line I can toss it back and forth half decently now. Also it's AWD and comes with not just rubber tires but plastic tires as well which allows it to break loose really easily.

NOOBS! those are yokomo rc cars on the video, the REAL drift cars, not your cheap toys r us cars, these things run for over 300 bucks and then with acessories, tires and tuning (yes tuning) it's gonna end up costing over 500.

http://www.yokomousa.com/

I'm planning to get one myself, maybe Miki Ryuji's Top Secret car or Kazama Yasuki Kei-Office car.

God damn street racers.:D

Looks pretty sweet, my bros got one that I might have to steal from him now.

This reminded me of one of my buddies cars in england, he had a gas (I think) M3, it was abit bigger than these drift cars and he had sank about 1500 bux into it, the damn thing could do 80MPH, was pretty damn crazy.

lol i have the same one and took off the exact same stickers too
think i'll go paint mine white now
me and my friend picked up both cars yesterday, fun shit for 80 bucks
went drifting at the tennis court today :burnout:

i was reading on a rc forum that u can put a more powerful motor in it too
the trinity p2k pro motor
although im not sure if it's safe, the guy at pms hobby said it might fry the electrical stuff because it'll draw too much current
