I was wondering, what would be a good spring to buy, to lower my car 1.5" or so, I plan on buying 17" wheels in the spring. I want the wheel gap to be closer, but I don't want it to be really low, because the roads around the Hat suck.

I know the roads seem to get worse every day.

H&R are pretty good springs.

What do they cost for a complete set?

Eibach pro for that kind of drop - maintains a good ride and is a relatively small drop (ie around 1.5"-1.7")

if you want a small drop go with H&R sport.
If you want a lower drop than that go with the H&R Race.

Private Message "No.Not.Again" I think he has some springs to sell for your car.

Forgot to ask, do you have any aftermarket shocks? you may want to invest in thoses as well. With a 1.5" drop it puts alot of force on your stock shocks, after time they may start to leak. From what i've heard with a 1.5" drop, stock shocks will last you roughly a year.

No I have stock shocks, I plan on upgrading the shocks later on, or if I get the springs for a good price I might buy shocks at the same time.

I've ridden in both 5th gens with B&G+Koni Yellows, and Ground Control+Koni Yellows.

These setups get a  from me!

You may want to buy both at the same time. To install the springs it takes around 6-8 hours, and to do that twice :nut:. Unless you plan on paying someone. I was going to do the same, then i found out install process, ended up waiting 2 months for the shocks.

I might do that but I don't want to dump a huge pile of money on shocks.

I've been looking around too. Here's something from my other post that might help:

I think the AGX are ok down to 1.5" which would be ok(if that took off enough gap), but since I need GR2's in the rear, I wouldn't be as tunable + the GR2's are called "moderate" for sportiness by their manufactures.

But I guess a more year-round-friendly height w/ non adjutable dampeners would be better value.

edit: I just found out that rear EF AGX's fit DA tegs. But coilovers are req to achieve a level height.

The Eibach Sportlines are too soft though. 263F/143R
So if it's springs I'm getting it'll probably be Neuspeed(Sport 1.8) of H&R(Sport 1.8"Front: 340lbs.Rear: 186lbs.).

Value options:
Non adjustable shock(Tokico Blues, Koni Reds)
with "sport" drop. I would prefer a progressive spring.
The softer Eibachs are 0.3" lower in the front which evens the gap.

Here's some options:
