The Calgary Flames announced Friday the signing of goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff to a multi-year deal.

It is a three-year contract worth $10 million US, paying him $2.9 million in 2005-2006, $3.5 million in 2006-2007 and $3.6 million in 2007-2008.

Awsome two key guys for the Flames. Can't wait for the season now. I think I might head down for the opening home game.
