Hey,
I have a toshiba satellite 1700, works fine....but the screen hynges are broken off. I can take a pic if anyones interested. The screen works fine, however, since the hynges are completely broken off it must be resting on something all the time. If a wire falls out its easy to figure out where to plug it back in (theres only two, one ribbon going in to the back of the screen...and one cable going in to the circuit board, but the one going to the circuit board shouldn't fall out anyways)
It has USB ports and a VGA port so you can hook up a monitor to it.
This laptop does overheat pretty quick, so you should always have it on a desk or a cooling pad...not on a carpet or bed or something.

700 mhz
64 mb ram
10gig hard drive
I'm selling because I was going to use it for GPS but decided to just buy a actual gps unit with screen built in and everything.
