What are your people's views on the car. Its gonna be mainly used for a commuter and its priced pretty good. Any thoughts?:)

I don't think very much of it, 120HP is kinda weak.
I'd probably get a Mazda Protoge5 for around the same money, have 10 more HP, lots more room for stuff, and that beautiful Mazda handling.. that chassis is set up awesome.

the OZ package only gives you the OZ wheels and a rear spoiler right? no performance add ons, i'd just go for a regular lancer and pick up some wheels yourself later on

phhhht  Get an Impreza or Civic, or something else that's worlds better for not much more $$ ... The OZ package is a waste of money...
or do like crxboi says and get a regular lancer and get some rims later ... I don't even like the OZ wheels actually.

And as the deal calls it a "ground effects kit" or just a front and rear lips and side skirts.

i also think its a waste of money. if u are set on a lancer, at least get the base model and spend that extra 4 grand on options.

I dunno, the rims look pretty small on it:dunno:

The car seems a bit small... needs a bit more of a wide body to it and some EVO parts... lol
I drove one around and it it didnt really inspire me to rally...

I'd wait and see in a couple years to let them work out the bugs.

Looks pretty aggressive but it's not something i'd be willing to buy except if I were looking for a basic vehicle - and i'd consider a lot of cars before that...

Wanna be lancer evo, minus all the things that make it fun. All it really has going for it is it is cheap and it gets decent mileage. They aren't terribly reliable, it isn't terribly nice to look at, it isn't especially fast, they aren't very well built and it doesn't handle terribly well. Skip it and look at something else, IMHO.

As a commuter it's cool, just as long as you don't mistake it for being even close to any definition of the word "fast".

Still relatively rare around here.

During christmas I was in the states, saw about 10 million lancers all over the place! Saw more of them than civics (all generations included)
