I have that same product, its just paint laquior, it turned my plate yellow and started to crack after 2 months. I had to get a new plate.

Yea i was talking to some brits from the Army base near by and they said what they do in england is paint their plates with laquoir (sp?) because tis the same thing.

If you have this exact product i suggest you contact them because they garuntee it not to turn your plate yellow.

theres no law against it.. theres laws against covering the plate with things... but not any substance applied to the plate..
