I'm travelling there (New Orleans) in September...there are already specific places I'm planning on going but just wondering if anyone has been there! Any suggestions or tips would be great!

Yup I have been there a few times , I first went to Alabama , and stayed on the Biuo (sp) river , went crab fishing which was cool .. From alabama we went to New Orleans ( French section) it was really cool there , alot of wierd people and things to do (clubs , hard rock cafe , the big marine aquarium with sharks that you can pet , it was worth seeing it.)

All I gota say is just know where your wallet is at all times when you are downtown in Orleans.

Haha, definately! I'm actually thinking of staying IN the French Quarter because a lot of the places I'm going are in that area and it would really cut down transp. costs. I'd really like to travel outside of New Orleans but I'll save that for another trip...I think 23 is still too young to rent a car down there.

Definately a change of plans. I went down to Vegas for the last week and had a great time. You can't go wrong with a trip to Vegas...unless they lose your freaking luggage like they did to me:rolleyes:
