Im hoping to pick up an Acura 1.6el 97-00 in the next couple weeks.
Although im thinking of slightly modifying it and was wondering something.
Will generally anything that fits a 4 door civic of the same generation, fit the 1.6el?
Like for example a full cat-back exhaust?
Thanx

thats very true, never thought of that. I guess I would have to check on a case by case basis.

The 1.6L vtec engine in the EL is the same as the one in the civic si.

1.6 EL is vtec. It is mechanically the same as the civic si, so all mechanical parts should fit no problem. Body mods, different story.

Are you serious about buying a car? Seems like you're interested in practically every car in the marketplace... :dunno:

haha, well sorry.
I am serious about buying a car. I have been on the lookout for quite awhile, now that I have secured a loan and narrowed it down to what I want I will be a little more picky in what i am interested in.
My apoligies.

Care to elaborate? And yes the 1.6 EL is just a rebadged civic with a different front end and rear end, and a different interior.

Only partly true. It is like saying the Acura RSX is unique since it is only available to North America, but only because it is called the Honda Integra everywhere else. Truth is, the Acura 1.6 EL is called the Honda Domani in Japan (and maybe in New Zealand and Australia?). Chassis code is the same for both - MB4.

What I got on Google when I type in MB4 and Honda:
I'm Feeling Lucky result (http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/honda/domani/1998_2/) includes pics
