I was planning on using skunk2 stage 2 cams for my LS VTEC build but they are alot of money. I was wondering what are some other product brands that are almost or just as good but doesnt cost so much?

well for your motor, you could just get type r cams

just get itr cams, they'll be good enough for now if you're on a budget

ITR are how much? Blox are like 500

I sold my CTR cams for $450, ITR should be a bit cheaper. Don't forget that you'll have to upgrade your springs and retainers to go along with the cams.

Another decent cam is Crane. I paid around $600 for my stage 3's. Just make sure you match your cams to your compression ratio. If you're using stock LS slugs then the ITR will probably be plenty for now. They'll hold their value, so you can always sell them down the road if you move on to bigger and better things.
