So i went for a bike ride to pick up some groceries so i could save gas, as its been hovering around 98, 99 cents here for the past few months. but as i was riding by a gas station i almost had a heart attack. that right, it's official in Niagara Falls......

^ ya im fully aware that 94 has been over a buck a litre for a long time, but thats what happens when you drive a car that wants it. when you see regular at over a dollar a litre its a sad day. and thanks for the needless attack, very good example being set man. :thumbsup:

i saw some stations here in vancouver with 113.0 for regular. premium.......add 0.10. like finboy says - gotta pay to play.

Man i filled up my beater ford tempo this morning at Safeway here in the hat and even with that 7cents off coupon it was still like 42$. I hate putting money into that hunk of shit even if it is for gas

Does the STi actually require 94? Why would they make that mandatory if you cant get it everywhere?

If you're playing with boost levels, then it would definately help. I'm run premium in my Volvo just to minimize the chance of detonation after doubling the boost from the factory settings.

No, but it is cheap insurance. When I ran 91, it would idle and run like crap. On 91, I am sure the ecu was pulling timing.

I don't know why you guys are whining about this. My dad just got back from the UK, and they are paying about 1 pound which is roughly 2.2 canadian. That is about $2.20/L!!!
