My Wires Sparked Due To Me Hooking Up Battery Wrong

MY BATTERY WIRES SPARKED BECAUSE I PUT THE NEGATIVE WIRE ON POSITIVE AND POSITIVE WIRE ON NEGATIVE BY MISTAKE.
CAN THIS SCREW UP MY CAR.
DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS.

Check you're fuses. You might have blown something.

Did you do this BEFORE you were having your "car won't turn off" problems?

Theres a possibility you messed up something in your electrical system causing your "car not shutting off" crisis.

yes.
this happened before the car not shutting off.
do you really think it could mess the electrical stuff up.
wouldn't a fuse blow up first.

If everything seems to work fine, nothing got fucked up. When i boosted a buddies car he did the same thing and luckily mine didnt get fucked. The ends of the cables melted off though.

By the way, your a tool, honest mistake or not.

Did any of the fuses blow or not? I would try another ECU and see if the same thing still happens.

So how do you turn the car off now?

sorry i don't know much about cars.
but i was just thinking if any of the fuses blew up how would it start up with a boost then.
or is that why it needs a boost.

ECU is your car's computer.
Electronic Control Unit I believe.
Anyways yea how do you turn your car off?

i took out the battery and cracked my engine to stop the car.
