auto neon in a cpu?

So i was diggin trough a few old boxes and found a neon rod from my older ricer days and i was wondering if there was a way i could hardwire it into my computer so i lights up the case. i realize that neon makes heat and that i should use a cold cathode but memory express doesnt have any blue in so im out of luck there. plus this neon is free.

a link to a tutorial would be great but if you want to just explain it to me im sure ill figure it out

wayyy easier to just buy cold cathode...also, do u even have a window? if not it would be almost totally useless
