The easiest classes I've taken at the U of A are: RELIG 274, ASTRO 1xx, EAS 201, EAS 202, STAT 151, and FMS 205.

But seriously, there is no such thing as a gauranteed A. Think about it; although the class is easier for you, it's also easier for everyone else. In one way or another, the marks are always curved so that they'll fit the standard departmental grade distribution. This means that the same top 10% of students in a class will get As, regardless of how easy or hard the class is.

What I'm saying is, you've got to actually be willing to work harder than everyone else if you want good grades, regardless of the class. It's just that easier classes make that task easier.

Pretty much any sociology classes. Also keep in mind FMS 200. I personally found EAS classes to be extremely dry but they are an easy way to get science credits.

All intro ECON, ANTHR, SOC. (Except for Dr. Aoki's SOC class - he's insane)

math 241 (seriously... addition, subtraction and maybe some multiplication and division if you're lucky) (highschool math a prereq I think)
phil 265 / 266 (think phil 100 is a prerec)
HECOL 211 I think. It's human sexuality. walk in the park (no prerec)
Phil 120 (no prerec)
SOC 225 and 224 (criminology and deviant behaviour) (no prerec)
Soc 242 (it's quite a bit a reading, but I honestly put the minimals into it, did the paper that we had the entire semester to do and got a 3.0). Not really *that* easy, but really fun.
Soc 300 (no prerec. equivalent to soc 100. made for students who need 3XX credits but have no prereqs)
Accounting 300 (no prerec. made for students who need 3XX credits but have no prerecs. can't take if you're in biznas though)
RLS 213 or 223 I think - recreational leisure studies. I shouldn't have to go into detail about this one. sit on a hill, write down what you think, meet hot chicks and get a good grade.

just joking about that last one ;)
