nm, found out it was removed because the seller still had california plates on it and it cannot be registered here.

If it's that easy to import an Evo then we would have like a 1000 of them on the streets already

Guys there is a new EVO in YORKTON, Sask. And its not a fake. Ill try to get pics but it even had Sask plates on it....

Somthing about some guy in Winnipeg(I think) was importing them, changing the front ends over to Canadian spec Lancers, then changing them back after they were Canadian certified.....

they were imported when the came out.. brand new.. and were thought to be a normal lancer. i believe there were 5 of them that made it into the country before someone realized that they are not your typical lancer. i read this and saw pictures of one of them on a thread on another forum..

I saw a grey one at race city a few weeks ago, with alberta plates....have pics too!

you were thinking about the evolution 7, it has the E V O L U T I O N on the back. The evo 8 has it written in the bottom left corner.
