what do i need???

ok i want to play dvds, video/audio on a screen that is not in my deck. i want to keep my factory deck in and be able to play movies and videos of a screen on my dash. what things do i need to make this work. oh and i need the audio to work off my factory speakers.

what is an fm mod ?

^^^^ it plays the content your playing through your radio. You basicaly pick a station it works on and tune in your factory radio to that station and it plays through, it's like a mini radio station in your car.

ok and would the fm mod connect to a reciever? i need a reciever too right to connect to the screen?


and what would a system like this cost?

you would have to talk to john at car salon for price, i would guess about $250-$350. i haven't priced the stuff out here before.

But you would just have the screen for video, it should have video inputs, the dvd player would have the video outputs that go to the screen as well as audio out puts that go to the fm mod. the factory deck IS the reciever, so you wouldn't need a seperate one. Hope all this makes sense.

ok so i went there they quoted me 920 bux......

Sorry i thought you HAD a screen, that sounds about right for a decent screen and the other stuff.

Or you could take advantage of the awesome special they have right now for an indash panasonic system that is all complete for $999.00. Keep your stock deck and swap it back in when you're ready to sel.
