12"sub great truck no problem great dd only thing it needs is body work new t-chain / clutch /extra clutch80-90% just needs fenders ........3000 or trades

$2000 was a pretty reasonable offer... considering your asking $3000 and it needs some work, who knows... he might have met you half-way, but you pretty much told him to fuck off.

The way I see it the guys asking 3000.oo obo if you want to haggle a price out do it after you see it not before.ANd as for a fair price.KNocking off 1000. in my eyes in more like an insult.But to each there own .

ok im over it......so what you are saying is i should have posted it at less 5000 in order to get 3000 or less .....im sorry im a shitty salesman and that i did this all wrong i forgot to markup the shit out of it... so i have a couple grand to play with... did you ever think maybe i just put up a fair price and im gonna stick to it, or how much it cost to do the work thats done on it

I agree about maybe going to look at it and then offering a lower price, rather then before... but just like a seller should start higher then he wants... a buyer should start lower then he's willing to go... I'm just saying he could have handled it differently, insulting or not... could have just said no, or Pm'ed the guy and said something like $2800 is as low as I can go.

But instead he was kind of ignorant about it, and then raised the price $500 from his original asking price... inturn telling buddy to take a hike... To each there own as you say, but thats not the way I would have handled it.

It's never easy to buy on these sites people got a price in mind already and others on what they want to pay.Been there done that.
But in the end I personally feel it's best to see what you're going to buy before starting the barganing.Unless you live in a different city then you want to see if it's worth it first.No harm no foul.:thumbsup:
