The coup on 17th Ave SW between 9th and 8th street. Apparently it's good, but what do I know, I don't eat like a rabbit.

My wife and her friends love the Coup. None of them are vegetarians either. I've never been since they usually go when the guys are over for poker and wings.

Its not a cafe but apparently there is a Vegetarian Chinese Food restaruant on McLeod Trail right next to Silverhill. A friend of mine (vegetarian) took her bf there and he really enjoyed it. Apparently you can't tell its all vetegarian.

What? vegitarian restaurants/cafe's in ALBERTA:eek: Why would anybody in their right mind be a vegie in one of the best beef spots in the world? Thats like being anti rice in china.

Buddha's Veggie, just north of Chinook, right before Silverhill Acura - super good All vegetarian Chinese food

There's a place called Veggie House in China town that almost as good, but a third the price.

Most East Indian places have a strong veggie or vegan menu.

There are a few more popping up around too.
