My roommate has a 1992 red tercel for sale as he is moving to Bolivia and needs to get rid of it before he goes. I'm not joking, he's going on an internship and needs to sell this car. It has 270,000 kms, manual, cd player (don't remember what brand), new front tires, newer cv joints. This would be a good reliable beater. I've ridden in it with him and it rides fine, no shaking, no problems. Burns oil (obviously), but nothing that shouldn't be expected. He is in calgary, you can get back to me about it if you're interested.
He's asking 1000$.

edit: the hood is open in that pic, but it closes all the way.

Whats the condition of the clutch like? Brakes? Suspension (struts)?

Clutch is starting to slip a bit, brakes are fine and shocks seem to be fine. I've only driven this thing once - it's my roommates car.

I don't know, why don't you come and take a look at it for yourself? I don't pay attention to this car as it's not mine, and my roommate only drives it maybe once every two weeks. I'm sure you can get away with not replacing anything for a while, depending on how you drive.
