Hi Guys,
I was at “pick-N-pull” in Calgary today and I stumbled across a ’78 BMW 530i (5-speed) that is in amazing condition with only 73,000km on it!!
This car does NOT belong in the junk yard!
It has some very minor accident damage on the rear passenger door and some parts have been taken already (like the wheels, some trim and small engine pieces), but the interior looks like a new car, the engine compartment looks like a well kept E36, and there’s not a speck of rust on it (aside from the accident damage)... even underneath! Basically, the car looks like it got in a slight accident then got stored in someone’s garage for 25 years.
I felt sick when I saw this potentially gorgeous example of a 5-series in the wreckers… you guys must know someone that can/will save this amazing car!! I'm really tempted myself, but I just can't afford it. Someone go get it!
