where to get a 89 5.0L tranny

i bought one from matt at the mustang shop a few years ago, he's a great guy to deal with. ack, if i had the money to put a six speed back into my car i'd sell you mine... too bad I have to fix my roof, my car still has the mount for the six speed :(

ya i just called the mustang shop and they have one for 750.

astro wrecking yard has one for 650.

so call them back and tell them that you'd rather deal with them, unless it's in way better shape for $100 more i'm sure they'd match or beat the price. talk to matt, him and his dad own the shop.
