$100,000USD for a 36 year old car? Kind of hard to believe it only has 3500 miles on it...

never mind what was here before, I read up on it again. this is a totally reasonable asking price for a car like that.

Yenko built cars are HIGHLY sought after and quite rare. Hence the price.

Watch Barrett Jackson and you will understand.

indeed... if it was a real Yenko built car, that Yenko had put together himself and sold through his dealership, it would probably be going for two or three times what that one is.

Not worth that. What is the point of spending that much money on a car? Even if there were only 69 and they were built by Yenko. If you have that much money to lay down on a car, you have problems and should share some of the wealth to beyonders:D

The reserve's probably around a million, no question. Probably worth that to the right guy.

Let me put it this way. Someone paid 5 or 6 million dollars for a convertible HemiCuda. I'd never pat that much. But, if you want a convertible HemiCuda, you're going to have to pay at LEAST that much. Now that the precedent has been set, the price goes up accordingly.

The same is true for most collectible cars. Right now, late 60's Hemi cars are the hot ticket, with the base price for a non convertible car resting at a comfortable $100,000. Convertible? Multiply by about eight to ten.

That's just the way it works.
