the best thing she can do is hire pointts to take care of it for her.

otherwise, theres no point in going to court, shell just get eaten up there. if she doesnt want to hire lawyers, she can go talk to crown and get the ticket reduced, but thats about it

Go to court and ask the crown to drop the points and you will pay the ticket right away.

Plead for leanency is about her best chance for reducing the fine, shes not gonna be able to fight it if you don't really have anything to back up her part.

ok, yeah i think that's the best thing to do... just try to get the points dropped

i was just wondering is the radar accurate if she got clocked while he was driving beside her...???
like i was thinking it wouldn't be very accurate unless they were sitting there

what happened to kennY???

isn't the speed limit 90 out there. Well if she pulls it off and gets it reduced I will be suprised, hey but it people have done it before its possiable.

take it to court maybe the cop won't show up. also ask when the last time their radar was calibrated. if it was a long time ago there is room for error.

The cop gets into a lot of trouble for not 'showing up'. And it might not be calibrated, but it would only be like 2 or 3 k's out, 150 is quite fast to say the radar was not calibrated. I know a cop, and he has told me the best things to do for my benifit if he can't get me out of a fine, that pleeding for leaneancy is the best thing to lower the fine and points.

You do the crime you do the time. Grr.. offenders should not get off that easily.

The charge was reduced to an unsafe left turn (which was much more appropriate from the start) and from they're I pleaded registered owner to knock off all points... and left with $69.oo fine, but I did pay $200 for points to do this for me

If your friend wasn't going too far over the limit, there is a better chance of her getting off. But in this case, I'd go to pointts. I inquired about a similar scenario. You'll be damn lucky if they let you go with demerits and a fine. Most of the prosecutors will probably try to nail you by suspending your lisence if not 6+ points.

good luck anyways. :)
