A single, solitary $57 ticket for 74 in a sixty zone (I was actually doing closer to 90 but the cop let me off easy.) My first, and only speeding ticket, back from when I was young and stupid (not so young any more, stupid is debatable :D )

I got nailed doing twice the speed limit in a construction zone. 90 in a 45, and since it was in a construction zone, the fine was doubled. It ended up being a $600 dollar ticket.

There were no contruction workers there at the time though, this was around 11 pm on a Saturday night.

Cheesus. Legendboy has 64 speeding tickets? Friggin hell. With the speeds you mention, I can't believe the soft laws you have over there in Alberta. Here they'd steal your license doing 20-30 over the limit, just take it on the spot. Heh, probably go to jail too with some of the ones I see here.

haha, thoes pictures are so old, tickets from the last 4 years arn't even on there. If I could find an old copy of my drivers abstract you guys would laugh your asses off. It was 7 pages :rofl: and I've had my licence suspended 3 times :banghead: and I've paid around $35,000 for PL & PD insurance over the last 7 years. Finally my rates are dropping now that I'm tuning 25, and its been almost 2 years since I got a ticket.

170km/h on deerfoot...6 weeks after my 16th birthday.....:( ...went to court...pleaded guilty with reason or some shit like that and it was reduced to 149km/h..no suspension...4 demerits ( which got reduced to 1 thanx to good ol' young drivers)...ohh and the fine ended up being $197..this was all about 3.5 months ago...:banghead:

school zones, play ground zones and construction zones are the places I'll never speed. $600 for one single ticket is crazy, couldn't you fight it and have it reduced under the circumstances?

This was back in the good ol fearless/stupid days... If you must know, it was in a Toyota Echo - RENTAL CAR! I blamed it on the fact that the stupid instrument cluster was in the center of the car instead of directly in front of me, so I didn't know how fast I was going... :confused: Plus I didn't know those puppies could even hit that speed! :rofl:

Yes, well that is the good thing about being caught in BC with AB plates. They don't share the information for demerits. I found the same thing with my ticket.
