s13 digital climate control

anybody now if the analog automatic climate control to the digital climate control is a direct swap in the s13 (all the sensors are the same? is the harness the same?)?

Im fairly sure it is plug and play, they use the same sensors (one on the upper left dash and the vent under the stereo hole) it is just the unit that is digital. The ones that come with the harnesses are for a swap into a 240, that came with no sensors or anything.
If you look on yahoo japan under nissan electrical, you can find climate control units without harnesses for about 20 bucks...shipping would be fawk all aswell. I really dont know why i havent done it myself:dunno:

maybe we should grab 2 of the units, and combine the shipping?

Just search Yahoo japan for items u want in japanese, there are pics and shit, u can get a basic idea, then when u find a item u want more info on, copy the address bar, open a new window, goto google, click on langauge tools, then at the bottom there is a tool to paste your link into it and a drop list to choose what u want to do with your link, choose japanese to english beta, and your reading japanese, although u need to remember its not prefect, Silvia=Still Beer, u will read alot of sentances that dont make sence, but if u use common sense they can be figured out.

That item can be found on ebay. And u also have to remember that u cant just sign up and bid on stuff like ebay, ussally u need to know someone (or know someone who knows someone) in japan who can bid on it and arrange shippin, IMO it would be easier to get digital climate from ebay.

the digital units dont work with regular NA 240sx with the KA harness. it works with SR though. if you try to wire it with a KA harness all you're gonna get is off and super blowing status for the fan thats it.

yea its really only an option for the JDM cars, ive heard of unsucessful attempts on usdm cars, even with a full uncut harness w/ sensors and all.
Hey Shoaib, i know you throw alot of SR/CA motor mounts out...but by chance do you have any still lying around? one of mine got damaged while i took the motor out so i need a new one. As for the digi climate control, i call dibs after chris:D
