The SV650s is an excellent introduction into sport bikes, a capable contender at the track and just plain fun for riders of all ages and skill levels. The ergonomics are not so dedicated as, say a GSX-R 600 or ZX-6R (636), but that’s not to say you can’t get into a full tuck position behind the windscreen. The torquey v-twin delivers its power linearly, all the way to redline. This is a lot more practical for stoplight-to-stoplight riding in the city, as you don’t have to wait for the power band to kick in at 8,000rpms, or rev the engine up to keep it from lugging.
