Well, I like the Top Gear "Greatest Driving Song of All Time" finalists, excluding Meatloaf.

DJ Tiesto is pretty good. A small sample of Darude is decent. Mr Smith by Hybrid can't be beat. Come With Me (Friday Night Posse Mix) by Special D is really good, too.

But enough of techno. Emo/punk/alt/indie rock is where it's at, and for that, you need AFI, Hot Little Rocket (Calgary's own!), some of the Weakerthans, and I have others kicking around. Dead Kennedys aren't too bad for driving tunes.

- the first time I heard the track was in NY a few weeks before the official release. Some black guy in a blinged out black Escalade was crusing at 15km/h near the clubs blasting it. everybody was looking at his truck and saying how sweet the song was. From what I heard, he was related to the production staff.
