$1000...yikes man that's a pretty large budget, fuck it - just buy her a pony!

JJ...you should just plan a whole day with stuff that she'll really like and then get a good present to give her at the end of the day. With that much money to work with, you've got a whole lot of options.

Go buy her like 1000 items from the dollar store

Benny
08-30-2005, 11:28 PM
1000 tacos.

Nah, just give her one hell of a good day. Take her for a drive to a spot she really likes. And since she appears to like nothing, take her to a place you feel is really beautiful.

My suggest for a present would be some kinda of crystal figurine.

Those are nice.

Dont know the budget on this... But less then 1000 i think

Rent a Mini Cooper for the night

Drive out to Banff

Spend the night in the hot springs

Finish off with nice gift?

Dont know how much Mini's are to rent.

Total Spa package is nice...I never thought I'd enjoy it, but is it ever a good, relaxing way to spend a day!

Hair, Make-up, Manicure and Pedicure....:D

You LUCKY sonofabitch!

Anyhow, yeah, for 21...The watch idea is great. Watches are one of those thing you use every day, and the complements she'll get when she wears it will go on and on, reminding her of you.

Do a really really nice dinner, and maybe go for a balloon ride?

Take her to Chinook and give her a shopping spree.

Melinda

^^^ ooooh the shopping spree idea is a good one!! What girl wouldn't love $1000 to blow on clothing and other goodies at chinook???

dooman24
08-31-2005, 12:28 AM
:P! shopping spree.. only.. if she doesn't hold back.. and be like.. oh no.. id on't want your money.. blah blah blah.. i know she wouldn't spend my money like that..

Melinda
08-31-2005, 12:37 AM
Then get her a $1000 gift card for chinook. non refundable and they wont give you cash back for it! She's actually got to spend it all or else its wasted money!

how long have you guys been dating?

I like the watch idea as well. It's on her wrist daily, she looks at it often, and it's a practical gift that can also be used as a gorgeous accessory.

I did the watch gift a long time ago. That's why I thought it's a good idea. :)

Bought her the Movado Horizon Museum watch.

Dont know how much Mini's are to rent.

Dont forget a nice and high class dinner at a fancy resteraunt.
Hot springs is sooo nice and relaxing, definitely a good idea.
If you wanna be cheesy yet romantic you can deck out the hotel room with candles and flowers and if you DO plan on giving her the watch, that'll be a nice time to give it to her.
I wouldnt recommend doing this if you started dating her like 2 weeks ago though.

Do what im doing...make something. I tried to convince her to let me buy her a matching Movado of the one i have but she swore to kick my ass if i spend $1500 on a b-day present. So, im gonna make her a coffee mug...YES make it, then paint it and glaze it. Make a CD on the side, throw in lots of hershey kisses, and watch her :D Girls love it when u give them something that involves more time and less credit card.

hahah, but if it was me i would treat her to a great weekend in banff or some really nice place in the mountians, maybe jasper even, w/e and just go all out, nice resturaunts, hotel and all the other stuff that u can do while in the mountains, i think it would mean more than a watch or something like that, spending time with the person u like on her birthday is a gift in itself!

spend $500 on a junk car, $20 on hockey helmets, $40 on gas and go have a day or dirt road rallying with jumps and such. Then use the money left over to pay the hospital bills
