im thinking 29 995 for price on the si

they'll call it sir probly here

k20 for sure thinking with the 6 speed

looks like the rsx type s

200 at least maybe 210hp

15's at race city

maybe a mid to low 15's with smaller lighter wheels :P

New RSX-S is now rated at 201hp so I doubt they would make the civic more than that.

i like that interior minus that steering wheel.. but exterior.. waht was honda thinking?!

Considering the RSX is essentially a civic pricing should be fairly easy to figure out:

Civic + tuned suspention + 210 hp engine & 6-speed + upgraded interior & different body panels = $35,000 RSX type-S

Civic + tuned suspension + 200 hp engine & 6-speed manual + upgraded interior & navigation system = $32,000 Civic SiR

Pretty expensive Civic but you gotta pay to play.

Civic will be quicker than the RSX (unless they go buckwild with weight again) as it is essentially the same motor putting out same power. RSX is done after this model year.

New SAE calculation dropped the RSX-S to 201 from 210. The new Civic Si is rated 197 instead of 200.

My guess would be $30K without Navi. (Navi probabaly won't be avaliable in Canada).

All I see is another nail to the RSX coffin. There's no way any sane person will pay $3K more to have just a badge.

First test drive! Prices should be 3-5K less than RSX-S. and thats US, so hopefully this thing comes in at 27-28K Canadian...HOPEFULLY.

Well sir, I like it. As far as Honda's a Civics go. IT'S ABOUT FRIGGIN TIME they gave the Civic some competitively attractive styling again!

I wonder how much they'll improve the looks of the Acuras!!!! I'm predicting first up will be a redesign of the Acura EL. I can't wait for that! Don't let Acura down, Honda!

I'm willing to bet the RSX is done. Acura will probably move more upscale and not replace the RSX at all. I like the new Si(R), as long as it's not over 30 grand. Hell of an improvement over the old one.

yes, but Acura is still missing a luxury coupe or GT car in its lineup... something that can compete with the G35 coupe or the 3-series coupe would be nice.

btw, need some time to get used to the new look Civic... especially the ugly front end and short hood. The rear end does kind of look like a Saturn.

Wow thats one hell of a package, I have to see it in person before I pass any judgement tho. I think Acura in a couple years will have something to compete in the lux coupe / GT segment (maybe 2007/2008?)

Last time i spoke to a salesman about the car they said late september/ early october. Not too sure how accurate that would be.

i actually kinda like it, but theres something off about the front end to me. i think its the gap between the hood and the top of that center grille, or maybe the whole grille piece alltogether. maybe mugen will make a nice piece that'll make it all better ;)
