He's right as you can argue there's merit in calling Apple a lifestyle company and it should be embarrassing to Intel. Losing Apple's business has to sting but Intel and AMD should count themselves lucky that Apple's silicone isn't available to other OEM's.
And Intel will outsource some chips to TSMC and Samsung to get on the 5nm/3nm train as they can't even figure out 10nm yet.Quote:

I was an intel fanboy from 2001 to 2020. Switched to AMD on my last desktop build.
Apple has 2 problems:
Lacks games
Lacks custom build ability
You are never going to get “enthusiasts” if you can build your own machine.

Just noticed that if you sign up for apple care+ paid monthly, it comes off of your itunes credits. I think most people here have figured out that it's relatively easy to find itunes GCs at 15-20% off if you keep an eye out at costco/other retailers, so that's essentially a backdoor way to get a discount on apple care. Not sure if it works the same for the lump sum option.

Costco does 10-16% (depending on how much you buy) quite regularly, I’d say at least every 2 months if not more frequent. Usually see them in the weekly newsletter email. Canadian tire had a deal i think around Black Friday for 20% back in CT money as well. They are definitely still around.Quote:

My wife's iPhone 12 Pro won't show her headphones or her media centre on her car. (Bluetooth) The car recognizes the phone and it populates to connect to on her car's screen but nothing is discoverable on her phone. Just starting my search thru google for some answers, figured I'd post here first.
What does an iPhone 12 Pro have to do with headphones and a car?
