Food is OK nothing great but the price is way too high.
The food is so disgusting!! What kind of Russian borsche has intestines in it?!?!? Yes, I know I shouldn't be ordering Russian food in a chinese restaurant.. but the one at Calgary Court I heard was decent. Gross dirty food all around! :barf:
I went there once and thought it was good...
...I had no idea what i was eating tho, but it looked/smelled/tasted good.

Yeah, starting to look that way...
If Forbidden City sucks ass, then where should i be eating?
I thought the food there was pretty good, only been there twice though. It is pretty pricey though more expensive then most places in chinatown! Just for all those people who don't know it is in the T and T mall.
I think in Calgary, the best Hong Kong Cantonese style food is from Forbidden City. All of my friends that are born in Canada just find it expensive and bad..... but my family that came from Hong Kong eating from the best restaurant over there says it is the best in Calgary.
Many people are not used to paying higher prices for chinese food..... even most of the chinese aren't here. Let's just say the best here is only around average to below average in Hong Kong.
Their dim sums are more expensive because they are much more delicate and are actually fresh...... unlike cold spring roll that have been sitting on the cart for a while.
