Why the heck are the gas prices down east cheaper or the same as Calgary gas prices. Shouldn't it be cheaper in the place that it comes from?

we pull the oil out of the ground... we dont refine it here... most gets sent to the states
I think the provincial gov't there lowered their gasoline tax as a political move for re-election.
TO is the center of the universe, they'll do whatever is necessary to rip off the rest of the country.
They are probably doing it to take some heat off the sponsorship scandal
Supply and demand, there are more refineries in the East than here.
