Working on it. Been here a while already. Will try to remember to take pics of dumb shit.
I’ve been to nicer hotels but the service here is definitely top notch. Definitely not a bad way to get a tan.

I know nothing about watches but was thinking of buying my first piece..
Would I be able to just go in and buy this somewhere? I’m slowly begenning to learn high end watches are almost as hard to buy as certain cars…

Just walk in and tell them you are not looking for a builder grade watch, own 2 lambos, wash your car daily, and only eat $2-3k lunches, they will sell it to you.
Optional: Disclose your circumcision status. They may include a free case.
Whoever pays $66k for this watch deserves to pay $66k dollars for this watch
Who else is following Rolex and Tudor releases @ Watches/Wonders?
Looks like new Daytonas with exhibition casebacks, titanium yachtmaster 42, a hideous dial on the OP, and 2-tone GMT w/ black/grey bezel.
Tudor comes with a new 37mm black bay, a hideous white face GMT, and METAS cert on their 41mm bb along w/ jubilee bracelet.
I'm liking how this sets up Tudor for dedicated new model releases later in the year. Not excited w/ the rolex offerings.
Interesting. The Milgauss was the only Rolex I wanted to own and would've considered buying in the next couple years. My wife will be glad to hear about this.
My wife called me some names and I’ve changed my mind
If ugly watches are your thing, you may as well have a peek at Richard Mille or Jacobs and Co.
Invicta is pretty ugly
@littledan are you getting the Black Bay 54? Sizing looks very promising
Had I not just bought my wife a 126234 I would most definitely be looking at the BB54 for her. In fact, if I didn't have a 79030B BB58 I would probably be getting that for myself.
What I like about the BB54 is the case size, the reduction in thickness, and the crown tube length reduction. I'm not a huge fan of crowns that stick out so far, particularly with no crown guards. What I don't like about the 54 is the gilt dial with the regular non-faux aged color of the bezel insert text. Not sure how I feel about that. I would prefer if they went with the stark modern colours on the dial and the bezel so they match and its less faux-agey and more of a modern interpretation. That's what sold me on the 79030b because its a 58 w/o the aged gilt look. I'm still not overly sold on snowflake hands w/ circle dial markers though..
If I was in the market for the BB54 i'd probably look at the Pelagos 39. that one gets crown guards, square markes w/ snowflake hands, 39mm case size (pretty much best size) and is the real modern interpretation of the OG snowflake Tudor submariners.
Tudor has been on fire last few years though. The releases that I think are awesome from Tudor over that period are:
-bb58
-bb58 blue
- bb GMT
- Pelagos 39
- Pelagos FXD
- bb panda chrono
For Rolex, I'm still trying to get my hands on a Pepsi GMT w/ jubilee. I'd save some dough and get the Tudor GMT but there have been some issues w/ the movement (date wheel) and the case thickness is a bit much IMO. I'll just patiently wait for my pepsi even if it takes a few years. My wallet is in no hurry.
Good example is I got my wife's watch for $10,500+GST. Here is one on chrono for $17k!! :thumbsdow
