Flipp app lets you search by item, but certain things might not show up based on how they are named in the flyers.
Actually you don't even need the app.

Yup that can be a good tool, just doesn't catch everything though so I usually find myself looking 'manually' regardless. Good for a quick check though no doubt.
The hardest part is actually finding a good deal on Black Friday...I think last year I only bought 1 or 2 things.
Crappy tire app let you save a wishlist of stuff and you will get notified when they go on sale.
The problem is how much data you give up to CT and sales may not come as often if too many people put it on wishlist?
RFD is still my go to. Back retailer are also quite aware and real deals are usually price error or coupon stacking that retailer honors. (Like Samsung S10 512GB unlocked for $599 in May).
Has anyone ever bought anything at Canadian tire that wasn't 50-70% off? Haha. Their Black Friday flyer is always the same as their Thursday flyer, half the store is on sale at all times.
RFD is 99.99% horrible deals, so you really need to be willing to sift through the BS and 10% off circlejerks to find anything worthwhile.
I was going to go pick this up tonight... Seems like a good price.

Is it even worth waiting for black friday (knowing I will be out of the country that weekend)?
Meh, up to you. There will probably be a cheaper 43" entry level TV on BF, but it's already so cheap it probably isn't worth going to a store on BF to save $50 or whatever it's going to be. They had an open box one for $279 as well - not sure if it's gone or not.
Are you going to be out of country the entire black Friday week? Usually sales are not for one day and you can get the price difference if it does go on sale.
Or return the TV and buy something cheaper worst case scenario.
Maybe we can all keep a look out for what we want in this thread and post deals as they come.
I am in the market for some TV's, furniture and other new home shit too.
Well I added a few things to my Canadian TIre watchlist, so let's see what hits. None of that stuff is realyl "needed" this year, so maybe I should be hoping that they DON'T go on sale? :guns:

I've been looking at RFD and I can't take it. My sanity is worth more than any possible savings.
hey, anyone know what's up with Camelcamelcamel ? It's not finding items on amazon that it should be.
items like this: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07RZ3M52P/..._0ByVDbWRGN4H5
Haha yup, I warned you.
It's truly one of the last places you should be looking at for deals. What's worse is the non-saavy shopper will think a bad deal is a good deal just because everyone on there gets off on a $2.00 savings even if it costs them an hour of their time in effort.
There is also a thread for every Amazon "lightning deal" which 99% of the time is less than a 10% savings on a $20 item. And all you read is things iike "thanks OP, ordered 3 and some for gifts". Really?? It boggles the mind.
I'm on the Flipgive app for Amazon, helps fundraise for a team my kid is on.
And I don't think it is working for that link. Doesn't show an amazon price at all, or any price history

This one works just fine
Maybe whoever made the listing for that just never changed the price? Lots of stuff on amazon is private sellers with fulfillment by amazon so they can pick and choose the price.
I'm on ca.camelcamelcamel.com which is the correct Canadian site. It shows it as available from third party only, and it's definitely available directly from amazon. Unless it's changed how it defines "3rd party" somehow. I'm used to seeing anything that's available on prime shipping as that green line. Doesn't seem to be the case now.
Through keepa plug in

When I click your original link here’s what it shows:

That’s a third party but fulfilled by amazon. Where are you seeing it’s sold by amazon? Third party items can be prime eligible if they are fulfilled by amazon
