Ever since about 5-10min ago every time I move to tilt my laptop screen a dozen straight horizontal white lines just appear flickering on the screen until I stop moving the monitor.
Warranty on this laptop JUST expired about 2 months ago.

Ever since about 5-10min ago every time I move to tilt my laptop screen a dozen straight horizontal white lines just appear flickering on the screen until I stop moving the monitor.

Bad connection, hopefully just the ribbon cable that goes from the screen/lid to the mobo/body, so you'd just need to reseat that... but quite possibly the delicate connections around the monitor itself have gone bad, and that's impossible to fix without replacing the panel (~$100 off eBay).
That happened to my LCD monitor, it'd flicker random colors sometimes until I positioned it perfectly still at a certain position. It could just be the ribbon cable?
ya it switches to random colors until i position it. and its getting worse. Is there any shop in calgary that can fix it?
