ok so far I have bought a deck (pioneer premier line something or other) a sub (15 inch precision power) and a 12-CD changer (pioneer premier again)
what i was wondering is what kind of amp will I need to feed that kinda power of a sub? (15 inch)
and what else do i need? Im a complete n00b so bear with me :)

The size of the sub doesn't given any indication of the power requirements. Maybe you should post the factory specified RMS and Peak ratings (or the model) and your budget for an amp.

and hopefully under 400$?? I have no clue how much anything costs!
dude man. amps cost alot. your best bet is buying somethin used.

if you weant the sub to sound good though give it more then rms power thats for like bare mnium sound quality I'g go max power orm just a bit less, but it's your call...
look in the specs and find the box size it recomends, then build one to that exact size and build it strong.
