But nobody is buying manuals...

Manual transmission buyers are the anti pipeline people of the car world.
Few and far between but extremely loud and annoying.

New engine, revised trans tuning, steering rack, adaptive dampers, VSC, and differential.
The bitterness is strong on the supra forums
Interesting, I wonder what 2 more model years will bring. Perhaps the outside will get better looking?
I feel like you don’t buy a Supra unless you are explicitly trying to be disappointed.
I totally forgot that this car existed.
This - at least with an expensive car. I think the same thing will happen to the C8 Vette too after such a significant redesign.
Unless you have money to burn I would never buy the first iteration of a higher end car. Might be fine, but too risky for my tastes. Needs at least a year of "public beta testing".
Yeah I MO the C8 isn't a finished product and the 2nd half of the gen I expect to be improved dramatically. These launch C8's that people are paying admin for will not likely be looked at fondly once GM gets the most out of the chassis and drivetrain in the coming years. The Supra is more of a finished car but the horsepower increase is substantial as it's a seriously fast car for the money. I would probably have some horsepower envy if I purchased a first year Supra.

So heavily modified Supra walked by a stock corvette?
Sounds like an awesome car.
I don't think the price is all that different though. If you can afford a 911 then giver, but the corvette makes a tough sell of pretty much anything else.
You'd have to be crazy to get a supra over a vette
