Anyone ever remove their cruise control? What throttle cable do I use?

MR2oc has really been bad for answers lately. I'm hoping someone here can help out. I removed the cruise control on my car and basically ran the cable that originally ran to the cruise control module to my throttle body instead. Started the car up and the revs jumped to 5500 rpm on a cold engine ahh... shut it down right away, the cable is obviously way too short. Do I need to order a non cruise throttle cable? Thanks

mines gone but im not sure what I did?? you can come take a look though

I took mine out, it was a tight squeeze but I got it on the TB. No issues here.
