stupid EU
Interesting, economically, that's going to be a very expensive thing to do.
That's also a lot more electricity they've got figure out how to generate, and do so reliably.
A lot of high-end batteries too to replace all of those gas tanks.
Forcing people into making lifestyle changes.
A lot of practicalities that need to be worked out, but 40 years is a long time to do so.
LOL
The EU won't be around in 15-20 years, don't know how they plan on changing things 40 years from now.
:werd: except that your 15-20 year estimate is way too optimistic.Quote:

Now cars will be banned from cities too.
The nail in the coffin for this lofty goal, will be if they plan on forcing these rules on farmers of the EU. Somehow electric harvesters & farm machinery isn't even a vague possibility.
Cute idea otherwise, but I can see this being altered heavily before it ever comes into fruition.
Sweet, cheaper gas for the restofus.
I thinks electric car is the replacement and nuclear powerplant will be increase.
It's a beautiful, forward thinking idea. But the majority of the current humans on this earth are too fucking stupid, chained to profit, greedy, self-centred, and ignorant to understand it must be done --- the earth isn't getting any healthier that's for sure.

We'll be long gone before the earth gets too "unhealthy".
No its not, it is asinine. Compare automobile pollution to industrial pollution worldwide, uh, yeaaaaaaaaaaa... basically, they want to screw the general population over with this versus dealing with the real problem. IdiotsQuote:
