Curious if anyone has bid/won a vechicle from bringatrailer? Found something I've been wanting for a while now and I want to possibly bid on it, just not sure how the whole process works. Car is in the US so with getting it here, plus the OoC inspection etc it may not be worth it but I haven't had much luck in Canada.

I have a few friends that have purchased from there and one that has sold a vehicle into the USA.
For the ones that purchased, it was fairly straight forward and really no different than purchasing a car out of the USA. They paid, arranged shipping , paid duty/taxes, did the out of country inspection and they were good to go. For what it's worth, I find the cars on BAT sell for a premium over what they would typically sell for in a standard private car sale. I'm seeing some crazy high prices for E36 M3's with high mileage and not the greatest of shape.

Cars have to be in pretty immaculate condition to be allowed to post on BaT no?
I read their daily email every day, was following a few astons in the fall before my wife spent my car money on a house lol
I wonder what the selling process is as well. Seem like you can get drug money for certain types of cars on there, would be useful if i ever decide to sell the NSX.

Curious about the site as there's definitely some things that catch the eye on there. Just curious how it would work to actually finalize the deal and pickup the car being out of country.
