Aaand its begun. Earlier this summer I picked up a bus off an online auction that ended up being from the Lethbridge school district.
Its a 2000 Bluebird TC2000. 35 feet long, 48 passenger. 5.9 L cummins, 545 Allison transmission with about 200k. Not bad.
The plan is to completely strip it down, address potential rust, then build an awesome festival/RV that is future proofed for little ones as they're likely in the next couple of years.
It will have a full kitchen (Stove, sink, hot water, fridge), HVAC (A/C and heat), washroom (Sink, toilet, Shower), fresh/gray/black water tanks, a small battery bank, and generator.
Build schedule is about a year.
