Make Canada great again. A new Nortel would do it.

What's funny is that Huawei is the key player in killing Nortel.
BUMP
My god - this debacle is still going on and the extradition hearing is only set to start in Jan/Feb 2020 and may not be done until Winter 2020.
There is so much more going on here than what is being reported.

Dumb ass. China just nabbed 2 Americans in Oct. The 2 Mikes are not even 1st in line for prisoner exchange.
Trudeau is such a worthless muppet. I highly doubt Trump gives AF about it. Get that woman out of Canada, get those 2 guys back and ban business with Huawei.
Huawei hasn't formally been guilty of anything yet, its all just assumption and rumor.
I mean really, if I could say I could ban NASA and stop all business with them because I "assume" that Buzz did not land on the moon then I probably would (NASA being an inferior overpriced entity, like an Apple stand or lightning cable). Its just like saying that Canada shouldn't have to pay 2% of its GDP (Canada GDP $1.37 Trillion) to the USA to support a F-35 that spontaneously falls into oceans.
NASA is on the verge of death anyhow, the ISS is slated to come back down to earth anytime now. USA looks like its going full "Space Force" with near Trillion dollar spending. Although arguably putting a single 200 pound soldier into low earth orbit will still cost several hundred million dollars, which is exactly the same as spending two hours in LA traffic to deliver a single slice of avocado toast.
Banning someone based on the assumption they have a "superior" product is a very slippery slope though.

The payload they tried to send to the ISS lost navigation and burned up all its fuel, it cannot reach the ISS with the payload necessary to keep it up. The ISS may be coming down much sooner than anyone expected.
Nortel *could* blame Huawei, but they could also blame themselves.
Nokia *could* blame Huawei, but they could also blame themselves.
Microsoft *could* blame Huawei, but they could have made a much better Windows Phone OS.
Its natural to think that a Billion or Trillion dollar company would not fail, but it happens all the time. Could Apple fail? Yes it absolutely could, because I haven't seen true innovation in the last two product cycles (Although the made in USA cheese grater is definitely better than the made in USA garbage can) The A13 chip from apple actually looks like a slight regression to me, not that I know computer silicon.
Adding three cameras from two to five on an iPhone is not innovation in my book. 5G is most definitely innovation.
Look at how many trillion and decades they put into the F-35 fighter jet. Its looking to be the worst lemon of modern history. Don't blame the consumer when they don't want the $20 slice of avocado toast that took two hours, a gallon of gasoline, and a one human - to deliver, and instead go for a bowl of Ramen. Mmmm Ramen.

US decides to give companies $1 Billion to remove Huawei equipment. That doesn't sound very capitalist to me? Sounds more like anti-competitive.
Just like NASA banning Chinese people, their true colors are showing. Compete to be #1, and we will Tonya Harding you or break your legs before you even enter the building. No doubt Apple and wireless chip designers have made serious missteps and overall laziness (or just plain retardedness) in the USA.
Don't know whether to take the money and use overpriced and inferior USA designs, or just stick with what works and is fast.

Meng should be free to go on Wed.
just theatrics in other words ..... wtf was the point and cost to the Canadian tax payer, to appease the Americans?
They also likely knew this would never hold up.
Can we give her some ultra contagious, Anheuser Busch Madness to bring home as she's getting on the jet?
exactly to appease Americans for NAFTA 2.0
If Trudeau knew about her arrest, he's a dumbass to play along without expecting blow back. If he didn't know, then he did all he can to free Meng under the legal framework.
I expect Chinese will deport the Mikes as part of "sentencing" after Meng is free. And probably why Champagne and Freeland has the "STFU I am working here" face when they were asked about HK last week.
Good timing. You wouldn't want to be an Asian in the USA when the fall hits (chance of 1 million deaths in USA as they approach 60% herd). Even though technically I think most people realize that on the off chance Corona was engineered - it would most definitely be the USA that dropped that bomb - like so many other bombs they dropped and million landmines planted over greater Asia.
I wonder what a biological land mine would be like? Probably just pokes its head out of the ground and sprays a fine mist that sounds quieter than a rattlesnake.
Of the 110 million active land mines, it only stands to reason that someone with access to a North Carolina lab might have been able to lace one. And realistically, you only need one.
