Or is there more to come?
Uh oh, no Top Gear this week

Yeah I just read that - the knives have been out for Jeremy for some time, so if this constitutes a breach of his "final warning" with the BBC then this could possibly be the end of his time with Top Gear, if not kill the show entirely - the contracts for all three presenters are up in April IIRC. :(
I eagerly await the social media backlash :drama:
Well, the guys in his 50's, and has been earning a couple mill a year between the BBC salary, and his book and public appearance fees for years. So, if he was kicked off the show, he could do fine in a partial retirement. Maybe just do documentaries, which seem to be a passion of his.
There won't be any Top Gear without Jeremy anyway, I probably wouldn't be interested in continuing to watch it after that.
He already made a good chunk about 3 years ago:

Apparently he punched a producer last week.

I don't see him coming back :( Theres no way he could if he did assault a BBC employee. And just when we finally had a great season too. Booourns
One guy on reddit did make a good point though, Top Gear's went downhill in the last couple seasons because it's become the Clarkson show and they've become lazy, relying too much on scripted bits these days. A new host (if done right) could be exactly what is needed actually.Quote:

My money still says the dies without JC though.
Agree and disagree. Scripted bits have increased somewhat, but this season has been one of the best in quite some time. The India Special a few series back was the low point and they've gotten back on track since then.Quote:

Yeah, I agree with this. The scripting got super obvious over the last couple years but this season has been much better.Quote:

I have been wondering these last few years what the show would be like if they brought on some new bloods so to speak.
This season has been good, especially when compared to some of the more recent series.
This season and the end of the last have been damn good.. Bring back Clarkson and our show already gdamnit!
Both Clarkson and Hammond have said that they would quit if any of the three left the show, so I don't see the presenting crew staying on if Clarkson gets fired.
