I'm probably the only person who gets any warm feelings from this pic. But it tickles me mightily.

That's because most of them were wrapped around telephone poles and the rest were left to waste away. Last summer I saw my old 1992 LX hatch being driven (I bought the car in 1997 and sold it in 2002) and followed the guy for quite a while until I could get his attention to talk to him. It still looked really nice but it had been in a garage for last 10 years. I think I've seen 3 or 4 fox body 5.0's in the last 4 years that looks to be in reasonable shape. I don't even see crappy ones any more.
I remember a member on here had a really nice bagged maroon fox body, I think his username was Madsella or something along the lines. Anyways from what I remember he ended up getting into a really bad car accident or something and never saw him post much since then. I haven't tried searching but he might even have an old build thread on here.
Mad$ella, got into a drunken wreck and seemed to have copped some brain damage.
Great pics of a great car. I sold my notch back (red) 5.0L to a friend in Abbotsford who still has it, he put a built motor w/supercharger in it not long after he bought it from me in they mid 90s, and still has it along with 20+ other cars, at least.
If only I could find one like yours these days 80coupe, that was in such a condition, it'd be an insta buy.
Its pretty wild the prices these cars are going for these days. I tried to snag a super clean 93' coupe off a guy and even offered him 25k CAD for it but still said no. Man wants 30k USD! and i guarentee somebody will buy it at that. I remember in the early 2000's you could get a super clean notch for 5k. Again why i miss the 2000s...
